here’s a photo of me wearing all those products (plus some more that i will review later, these are just the ones that stood out) Excuse my messy hairFace of Australia Mineral Therapy liquid foundation in ivory review:
Cost: $14.95This foundation is pretty good, it’s really hard for me to find foundation that is the right colour for my skin because i am so light. This was recommended to me by a friend so i thought i would try it out.It contains Jojoba oil and vitamin C&E so it’s good for your skin, it’s really light weight. You might have to put on a few layers though (well i had to, i’m used to thicker more pigmented foundations) I really can’t praise this enough, although this was my first time using it, i really do like it and can see myself using it all the time! It provided a perfect base and gave me an even coverage, which is pretty important to me because i am a freckle face! haha It doesn’t contain any SPF though, which is something i usually look for in a reliable foundation, but if i use it with a powder containing an SPF it should be fine (plus it’s autumn atm so who cares)
E.L.F Translucent matifying powder :
Cost: $3.00This was an excellent powder to put over the mineral foundation, when you first open it, it looks like it has alot of colour, but when it’s applied it gives barely any pigment. It is very lightweight as well as being light in colour, which is also great for me, i really hate how hard it is to find foundations that don’t make me look orange. It comes with a little sponge and a great mirror, i LOVE THAT MIRROR! Love this product, but it doesn’t really look like there is much powder and the way i use things it will be gone really quick.
E.L.F High Definition Powder Review:
Cost: $6.00THIS STUFF IS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! it’s like real life photoshop for your face!It is translucent but not in the way the matifying powder is, the HD powder is white (comes in other colours too) and comes with it’s own powder puff (which is also brilliant) it smooths out lines and imperfections and gives you an even “soft focus” look. I love the packaging, i love the powder puff and i love the product! I love this! it is by far the best product i tried today and everyone should get one!
E.L.F Cream Eyeliner in black review:
Cost: $3.00I have never really “got” cream eyeliner, and i wasn’t going to try it today but the elf waterproof eyeliner pen wasn’t what i expected (very disappointing) so i turned to this one and was pleasantly surprised. It comes with it’s own little eyeliner brush which is really great and thin, great for getting close to your lash line and making perfect wings or cat eyes.I’m not sure on the wear-ability but i will update this when i know more! so far i love it! as long as it doesn’t smudge! (i will try it with some eye primer also)
E.L.F Lip Stain in red carpet review:
Cost: $3.00I instantly fell in love with this product as soon as i put the stain on! it was an excellent colour and it dried beautifully! then came the gloss (i don’t think i let the stain dry fully) i hate the gloss, it’s sticky and it’s already making the stain smudge. Next time i will let it dry fully (or maybe it does this all the time?)The colour runs into the gloss and it can easily come off, so i wouldn’t really call this a stain. I kissed my boyfriend while wearing this and he ended up wearing it!That being said, i will still wear it! maybe without the gloss though. not a fan of sticky lips and not being able to kiss my boy :p
E.L.F Lengthening & Defining Mascara Review:
Cost: $1.00this stuff smells freaking awesome! i love it, the product is excellent, it really does lengthen and define your lashes and make them fuller and beautiful. It doesn’t give you clumps, no matter how many layers you apply (which is SO awesome, i’ve never had a mascara that didn’t clump)i love this and would recommend it to everyone! alright so that’s all of the reviews, so here’s another photo of me
